Colleen Coffey grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and was a Junior Olympic competitive gymnast for 15 years. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Education & Allied Professions and a Biology minor. She completed her Master of Medical Science at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Throughout her Physician Assistant program, she completed eight core clinical rotations in various areas of medicine with an additional elective Psychiatry rotation. She has always had a strong passion to practice and specialize in Psychiatry.

Colleen is a licensed Physician Assistant specializing in mental health and areas including mood disorders, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and concentration difficulties. She believes in treating the patient as a whole and providing an open, comfortable environment for her patients. She is compassionate and strives to meet the specific needs of each individual person. She will work with her patients to provide the best plan of care through therapy, medications, or lifestyle changes. She and her patients work together to manage mental illness and improve her patient’s quality of life.
